Ben Affleck’s Hair Transplantation

The talented actor, producer, and screenwriter who came up with his fellow best friend matt demon by writing, acting, and directing their own movie, It shouldn’t be difficult to recognize the lister and Hollywood famous star Ben Affleck from a mile away.

But did you know he had a hair transplant a few years back?

Yes, fabulous ben Affleck and the Batmen of the millennials generation have a hair transplantation procedure, unrecognizable, hah? And that is what hair transplantation can now achieve for any man who suffers hair loss or male pattern baldness.

You may have heard that men only inherit the baldness gene from their mother’s father. Even if this isn’t always the case, it does hold some truth.

Male pattern baldness’ genetic component is still a mystery, but it’s thought to be polygenic, meaning it’s caused by more than one gene.

What Caused Ben Affleck’s Hair Loss?

Well, Ben Affleck  rumored that Ben was losing hair from a young age, or should we say let the 20s

Many more men, including Affleck, face the problem of baldness. After a certain age, the vast majority of men will develop baldness. Baldness is a problem that many people face, especially after they reach their forties. Male hormone-related baldness is the most common cause of baldness. Baldness affects roughly two-thirds of men on the planet.

It’s impossible to say that it was due to genetics. Ben had a fairly strong hairline and density volume for a long time. Many fans noticed Ben’s hair was falling out strangely in late 2010, and he even went bald for a time. implying that he may be suffering from male pattern baldness

All of this, however, was never confirmed by Ben Affleck himself.

How is Hair Transplantation is Done?

If you are not familiar with hair transplants and how it is usually done, here’s a quick explanation:

The hair transplant procedure is all about removing the hair follicles from one part of the body, called the ‘donor site,’ to a bald or balding part of the body known as the ‘recipient site’.

The surgical procedure in which hair follicles are transplanted from one part of the head to another part where the hair is thinning or receding will involve different hair transplant techniques which are used to obtain follicles for transplantation:

But in general, a hair transplant procedure will involve the following steps:

  • In the first step of Hair Transplant Surgery, the Hair follicles from the back of the head are removed to be transplanted to the balding areas.
  • The “donor area” will be trimmed short just before surgery to access and remove the grafts easily.
  • And in the final step, the follicles previously removed, are taken and placed in the place of the channels that were opened to be implanted.

Well, that’s your donor area, from which hair will be extracted and transplanted to areas where you have hair loss or baldness. That’s all there is to it.

What Happens After Hair Transplant?

Following hair transplant surgery, your scalp may be sore, and you may need to take medications such as:

  • Pain relievers
  • Antibiotics can help you avoid becoming infected.
  • Anti-inflammatories to keep the swelling at bay
  • After surgery, most people can return to work within a few days.
  • The transplanted hair is expected to fall out two to three weeks after the procedure. This allows for the growth of new hair. 8 to 12 months after surgery, most people will notice some new hair growth.

How Can We Help?

Someone with thinning hair or balding who still has enough hair in the donor area to use for a transplant is always the best candidate for an FUE hair transplant.

Although it is much more than that, a hair transplant surgeon will have to examine your current health condition, medical history, and, most importantly, the causes of your hair loss, as well as a few other factors that may contribute to the success of your hair restoration procedure.

We use the FUE technique and other advanced methods to provide excellent natural results to our patients in hair transplant clinic in Istanbul
